The Holiday Inn & Suites in Beaufort, SC is looking for a Room Attendant with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

A Room Attendant’s primary duty is to clean guest rooms to meet Holiday Inn brand standards. This includes carrying linen, making beds, replenishing in-room supplies, cleaning bathrooms, dusting furniture and walls, cleaning windows and doors, emptying wastebaskets, removing and transporting trash to waste disposal area.

May also include cleaning carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies. He/she will also be required to perform quality checks on the television, telephone, and AC units, and report any problems to the maintenance department through proper communication channels.

Room Attendants will be responsible for careful and efficient use of supplies issued for performance of cleaning and maintenance duties. Proper organizational skills are required for stocking cleaning and linen carts, and maintaining the storerooms in a clean, neat, and organized state.

Thorough knowledge of all in-house amenities along with local information to assist guests are also required. When daily tasks are completed, Room Attendants may be asked to assist other room attendants in completing their work. Requires familiarity with hotel and franchise standards and procedures and the ability to attend to the needs and requests of guests.

Room Attendants must have a friendly and outgoing demeanor and work cohesively with all hotel team members.

Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

MUST HAVE OPEN AVAILABILITY.

Room Attendants must be in proper uniform with name tag at all times.

Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, which includes weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime.

The Room Attendant position requires at least a high school diploma or a GED. Previous experience in the hospitality or hotel industry is recommended.
